We’re open to pretty much all visual art media except poop.
We are most interested in art that fits with the Persisters vision and values.
We don’t have set guidelines for content, but reserve the right to reject submissions counter to the vision and values of Persisters, or at the discretion of the event organizers.

We encourage artists to submit one to three pieces. We don’t foresee the need to limit the number of artists at this point, but that could change if we find we are unable to accommodate the number of submissions in the space booked for the show.

Persisters is a loose group of volunteer organizers, artists and performers. Money paid to artists goes to artists, money paid for performers goes to performers, and donations made at Persisters events will go to the intended organization. Donations of time, materials or money to or through Persisters are not tax-deductible because Persisters is not incorporated, nor does it have non-profit status.

Some of the Persisters organizers and supporters are men. Men are welcome to volunteer time, materials and money. Men are encouraged to buy art and support Persisters.

The key organizers behind Persisters are Emily Rodkey (High Tide Tattoo), Lauralye Miko (Fine Artist), Melissa Griffiths (Pixel & Plume Design Co.), David Lang (High Tide Tattoo) and Todd Mace (Pixel & Plume Design Co.). Additional volunteers, artists and musicians have provided invaluable support.
